Summary of Position
Social Media Ambassadors share important messages with their social networks to help amplify the efforts of Cornell University’s central communicators. This role is necessary for large initiatives where the university hopes to reach all alumni, parents and friends of Cornell. Social Media Ambassadors will not only help generate buzz about major initiatives such as Giving Day, but also share important links to Cornell websites. Volunteers are invited to use Cornell Social, an exciting social media platform where ambassador activity will be coordinated online. By sharing university messages through Cornell Social, ambassadors leverage their influence and amplify their impact.
