Communicate

Write and/or Edit
The Class Correspondents write 6 class columns per year for the Class Notes. To draft class columns, correspondents use updates gathered from classmates via news forms that alumni choose to submit along with their dues payments—as well as news gathered at events, by fellow officers, from classmate friends, or through the class website or emails. Many classes also ask their correspondents to publicize class events or activities in their columns.

Lead/Manage/Serve

Manage Projects
Class correspondents must be committed to spending time collecting and reading news of classmates and writing about it in a lively, entertaining tone. They must meet strict deadlines six times a year and remain in regular contact with their fellow officers as well as staff from Class, Student and Young Alumni Programs and Cornellians.

Build/Maintain Relationships

Engage Individuals
Class correspondents should build relationships with a wide variety of classmates to ensure columns reflect news about the entire class and not just a few individuals or groups.
