Summary of Position

The principal responsibility of the Reunion Chairs is to plan and execute the class reunion in Ithaca every five years. Reunion chairs must adhere to deadlines; work closely with their reunion staff contact in the year prior to Reunion; establish a budget and monitor account statements; recruit and lead a committee to help run their Reunion; delegate responsibilities to fellow officers and Reunion committee members; and remain flexible during busy times. Reunion chairs are most active in Year 5 of the class life cycle, beginning in June of the year prior to their reunion until October following their reunion. One Reunion Chair serves as the Reunion Registration Chair, with responsibility for all aspects of the registration process.

Other Meeting Details: Conference calls with executive committee as determined by class president.

Additional Attendance Requirements: Chairs are strongly encouraged to attend the Reunion of the class preceding them. Attendance is mandatory at Reunion Kick-Off (in person), Reunion Mid-Winter training (virtual), and the Clerk/Chair Briefing (in person) which takes place the Wednesday of Reunion week.
