Summary of Position

The Vice President's primarily responsibility will be to support the President's efforts in leading the Central NJ Cornellians Board's activity. The Vice President will perform any additional duties assigned to him/her/them by the President. The Vice President will perform the duties of the President in his/her/their absence or disability, including but not limited to: working closely with the Alumni Affairs Office to set strategic priorities and goals for the Cornell Club of Central NJ within the framework of Cornell’s Alumni Affairs Strategic Plan, and its policies and procedures, preside at Board meetings, and present the Office of Alumni Affairs an annual plan of activities and budget proposal prepared and approved by the Board.

The Vice President, as all serving Cornell Club of Central NJ Board Members, is a Cornell Ambassador who aims to foster alumni engagement in their community. The Vice President will support the President in leading the Board's efforts in recruiting new volunteers and support current alumni volunteers in their development to build and maintain an adequate pipeline.
