Summary of Position

Along with the Chair of the Cornell University Council, Vice Chairs comprise the leadership team of the Cornell University Council Administrative Board. Vice Chairs create, implement and oversee initiatives for the Council based on the strategic direction set forth by the university. Vice Chairs represent the Council in the Chair's absence.

Vice Chairs reach out and collaborate closely with fellow Administrative Board members and university leaders to communicate Council and Administrative Board goals and initiatives.

Vice Chairs take on and manage projects as needed. They help develop board meeting agendas and actively participate in meeting conversations.

Build/Maintain Relationships

Represent Cornell
Vice Chairs represent the Cornell University Council at Cornell functions in the Chair's absence.
