Summary of Position

The Vice Chair role for the Membership Committee is to support the Chair during the membership process. The Vice Chair of the Membership Committee helps to review and recommend a slate of nominees for membership-at-large and life membership on the Cornell University Council. The Vice Chair assists the chair in encouraging submission of nominations for Council.

Work with university staff and members to encourage nominations and provide feedback on the status of the nominations. Provides outreach to new members helping to orient them and address questions.
