Summary of Position

Members of the Engagement Committee work to educate Council members about their role as ambassadors and influencers, encouraging alumni, parents and friends to engage or re-engage with the University. The committee members will leverage their networks inside and outside of their Cornell volunteer communities to help support the university's strategic engagement goals. This committee develops strategies to reach out to any unengaged alumnus in order to get them re-engaged with Cornell and also oversees the Cornell University Council Newsletter which is produced 2x per year.

Share the news of what is happening at Cornell (formally, informally or through social media) at least once per year. Encourage Council and all Cornellians to join CUeLINKS, CUVolunteer, Cornell Advocacy Program, nominate someone for a volunteer position, and other connections as determined. Coordinate and edit the CUC Newsletter.
