Summary of Position

Cornell University Council brings together recognized alumni leaders to build a community that catalyzes growth for the Cornell community. Mentors play a vital role in helping the newest members navigate Cornell University Council to help them utilize and grow from the experience and expertise of others. Mentors will be responsible for facilitating a group of new members to do the following over a series of 3-4 meetings during the year: 1) Educate and remind members of the expectations of a council member. 2) Share and provide information on a specific area of alumni interest between members and council members. 3) Share updates that should be passed on to council members extended Cornell communities.
