Summary of Position

The Vice President of Students and Young Alumni is a member of the Executive Committee of the CACO Board. This position, with a committee comprising Directors-at-Large, is responsible for providing feedback on current programs and events planned and implemented by staff. Additionally, as a volunteer for Cornell University, vote in Cornell's annual alumni trustee election.

The Vice President of Student and Young Alumni will work closely with student and young alumni leaders to develop communications and events that will instill and reinforce commitment to both class and Cornell; create communications to class officers on student and young alumni initiatives; present proposed initiatives and budget to the CACO Board.

The Vice President of Student and Young Alumni will lead and oversee committee members comprising Directors-at-Large, whose mandate is comprised of Directors-at-Large; plan and develop communications, initiatives; hold discussions with committee members via conference calls; budget projections for committee.
